    AlRashid receives Ambassador of Nepal to discuss cooperation in the fields of energy production
     


    The Chamber's Chairman Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Rashid said that a bright future is waiting for trade relations between the Kingdom and Nepal, saying that the two countries are seeking to enhance cooperation in various economic sectors and notably during the meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of Nepal know Raj Pandey and his Entourage on Sunday 8 June 2013 with the main headquarters in Dammam.  Al-Rashed said that encounter which saw the presence of the Secretary-General of the Chamber Abdul Rahman bin Abdullah Alwabel  discussed the possibility of cooperation in search of investment opportunities in key sectors of the parties as well as meetings between businessmen of the two parties to focus on convincing them investment channels which help raise the level of economic exchange between the two countries.

    The Nepalese Ambassador said that bilateral relation between the Kingdom and Nepal's historic and growing significantly, especially after the opening of the Saudi Embassy in Kathmandu in May this year. Pandey said that it contributed to support the Saudi market with more than half a million workers since the start of the Saudi Embassy. He sought to attract investments in various economic sectors, particularly in the areas of hydroelectric power, tourism and agriculture, pointing out that we are in dire need of investment in the production of hydroelectric power.
